Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Manitoba Drivers’ license
Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of riding mower, push mower, weed eater
Knowledge of safety procedures and of the use of safety equipment
Interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all employees and the public effectively and in a courteous manner
Available from May 1 – September 1, 2026
Must be 16 to 29 years old
This position will require physical effort and include outdoor work, in a variety of conditions

The Rural Municipality of Armstrong invites applications for the following positions:

Yard/Park Maintenance

Office Assistant

Eligible Students

Red River Metis students ages 14+ living in Manitoba
Students must have attended school full-time in the current academic year and be returning to school on a full-time basis in the upcoming year.
Part-time & Distance Education students are not eligible
Proof of Red River Metis Citizenship (MMF Citizenship #) is required
Students aged 15 and under must complete the Safe Work Manitoba Young Worker Readiness Certificate course prior to starting employment
Available from June 29 to August 28, 2026
