MUNICIPAL COUNCIL MEMBERS’ CONFLICT OF INTEREST VIDEO AND CODE OF CONDUCT VIDEO
Municipal and Northern Relations, in consultation with The Association of Manitoba Municipalities and the Manitoba Municipal Administrators, has produced two educational videos on the topics of Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct for local governments in Manitoba. These videos are now available on the department’s website.

These short, animated videos provide basic information for council members and municipalities to help with understanding of legislative and regulatory obligations under The Municipal Council Conflict of Interest Act and the Council Members’ Codes of Conduct Regulation.
The videos also provide guidance to members of the public on what actions can be taken should they have concerns about Conflict of Interest or Code of Conduct issues in their municipal councils.
