Malonton is a very small community within the R.M. of Armstrong.

One of the main attractions in the town is the 27-ton Malonton Cairn that was designed by architect Alex Nitchuk and is dedicated to the memory of the Interlake Settlers in 1984. Click HERE for more details & directions.

Erected by the Smerchanski family in memory of their parents Anton and Yevdokia Smerchanski.

The statue bears the names of the pioneers from 1902 onwards who settled in the Malonton District.
