Emergency Services

911 service is available throughout the Rural Municipality of Armstrong.

For ambulance, police, or fire dial 911 immediately.

The RM currently has 2 fire departments, with one located in Inwood and one located in Fraserwood.

FULL CIVIC ADDRESS 

“BLUE” signs located at the end of your driveway. THIS IS PART OF YOUR CIVIC NUMBER 

-    These are the 911 initiative to help emergency persons locate you quicker should you be in need of assistance. 

CALLING 911 – in the event of an emergency

-    You will need to know the following information to accurately direct emergency personal to your location.    

•    CIVIC # 

•    ROAD #  that your Driveway is located on such as 9E or 116NW

•    DON’T FORGET THE NE, NW, SE OR SW Part as that is critical to the emergency personal to correctly drive in your direction. 

Example:  Road 114 covers 27 miles east to west within the RM and crosses 3 different highways.

It is RECOMMENDED TO MEMORIZE YOUR FULL CIVIC ADDRESS, 

It is ALSO RECOMMENDED to have it WRITTEN DOWN and LOCATED near your telephone(s) or another Visible Location. 

    Example: # 10031 ROAD 10E 

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CIVIC # MATCHES the number on your telephone land line (Bell MTS) bill and your municipal tax bill.

If you DO NOT HAVE A CIVIC ADDRESS; 

PLEASE CONTACT THE RM OF ARMSTRONG ASAP via telephone or email.
