various equipment, for the purpose of establishing pay rates for the 2021 construction
and maintenance season.

New Listing Public Notice / Long Term Forage Lease The RM of Armstrong is now accepting applications for long term forage leases. Applications will be accepted until February 19, 2021 by 4:30 PM to be reviewed at the March regular council meeting. All Manitobans should practice good social distancing strategies including minimizing prolonged (more than 10 minutes), close (less than two metres) contact between other individuals in public.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION ATTACHED
Any person concerned about their exposure to or risk of having COVID-19 should
first call Health Links–Info Sante at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257
(toll-free) to ensure they receive medical advice appropriate to their specific
health concerns.
Starting March 12, individuals in Winnipeg directed by Health Links–Info Sante
to be tested for COVID-19 will be asked to visit a community screening
location. The first two community screening locations will open today, at
Access Winnipeg West (at 280 Booth Dr.) and Access Fort Garry
(135 Plaza Dr.).
Screening will be available at these locations from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on
weekdays and until 4 p.m. on weekends. Those who require screening after
hours will still be directed to urgent care sites and emergency departments. In
addition to screening, these centres remain open for regularly scheduled clinic
activities.
People living outside Winnipeg who are concerned about their exposure to or
risk of having

____________________________ TAX PAYMENTS Tax Payments can be made by cash, debit, cheque, money order/bank draft and at most banks by Telpay: Biller code 007914 ARMSTRONG (RM) TAX or at selected Credit Unions by Central 1: Biller code 12903 RM of Armstrong (MB) – Taxes. Please note that when making a payment at the bank it takes a few days before it reaches the RM Office. We do not accept credit card payments. We are unable to accepting payment by E-Transfer at this time.
PENALTIES
Penalties of 1.25% will be added on November 1 and on the first day of each month thereafter until paid in full. Penalties imposed and remaining unpaid at the end of the year are added to the tax arrears and penalties will accumulate on the balance until paid. Lands in arrears for more than one year will be subject to tax sale. Tax Certificates Cost of a Tax Certificate $25.00 per roll number.

REFUSE PERMITS: Please ensure your have your Refuse Permit to gain access to the waste disposal grounds and transfer stations. If you do not have your blue and white refuse permit, access will be denied. If you require a new permit, please obtain one from the Municipal Office. There will be a $10.00 charge for replacement of permits.
ELECTRONICS RECYCLING: We are currently working on a program for residents to dispose of their electronics property. Until the new program is established, if possible hold onto your e-waste until the program is set up and running. If you need to drop of e-waste please drop off in the designated areas, these areas will be cleaned up and sent for recycling once the program is running. RECYCLING GUIDE

Signage / Civic Addressing Blue Signs have been put up at the end of your
driveways. These are the 911 initiative to help emergency persons locate you
quicker should you be in need of assistance. It will also be used as your new
civic address.
Please memorize your road number (including the NE or NW part) as well as your new civic number (blue sign), you will need both
the road number (green sign or road name) as well as the civic number in order for emergency persons to
locate you.
Most all residents should by now all have their blue signs posted at the end of their lanes. The RM will supply and install civic addresses at locations/driveways where public utilities are present ie: hydro/phone. If you qualify for a sign and don't have one please call the Municipal Office. Signs can be ordered at a charge for vacant property. If you have a sign please make sure it matches the number on your telephone land line (Bell MTS) bill and your municipal tax bill.
